We have been getting a great response! Thank you to everyone who has shared my page! My husband, Joshua, and I have been discussing ways to add good articles and recipes. We have some great ideas but we want your feedback. If you know of an idea that you think we can use, SHARE! We promise not to judge! Trust me, they haven’t all been beauties over here either! 🙂

This week we have been cooking all things Halloween!!!! From Halloween Hello Kitty Cupcakes to more traditional popcorn balls, we have been cooking at a record pace! It seems like there is always an event that can use something fun to eat! Whether at school, church, or just among friends, tasty food novelties are always welcomed. How about you? Have you tried any SPOOKY goodies for Halloween? Comment to let me know!

Joshua’s favorite holiday is Halloween. He likes to watch scary movies and eat candy! lol What he likes most is that Halloween is the “Gateway Holiday”. (his words, not mine) By gateway holiday he means that Halloween is the one holiday that ushers in the party season. Once Halloween hits, you have four major events planned in the remaining 62 days of the year. That’s a major party every 15 days on average! Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve! What a great time of year! As reluctant as I am to say this, I guess my husband is right. Just don’t tell him I said that! 😉

In closing tonight, I want to say a big thank you again. Please continue to share my page on Facebook and this blog. In time, I hope we can all learn more about each other and from each other because of it. I’ve got some really fun things coming up that i just can’t wait to share, so stay tuned.

God Bless

Happy Halloween!

The Newest of Endeavors

I am so excited to publicly launch my new business, Wendy’s Kitchen.  This is something that has been on my heart for a long time but, thanks to my amazing and supportive husband, I’ve finally decided to jump out there and do it.  I feel like I spend most of my “free” time in my kitchen…that’s the one room of the house that is MINE and I’ve come to realize this is more out of desire than necessity.  I’ve always loved cooking so I decided I would try to do more of what I love.  Though I have many long term goals for this business, my goal today and for the near future is to be able to provide my friends, family, neighbors, and more with an affordable alternative to fast food on nights when cooking dinner is not an option.  You can order off the menu or take advantage of daily specials that will be posted here and on our Wendy’s Kitchen facebook page.  Check out the “About Us” and “Menu” tabs above for more detailed information.  I look forward to this journey God has allowed me to begin and hope I can be a blessing to others along the way!
