See you in 2015!

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families! We had so much fun cooking Christmas dinners and now we are going to head to Arkansas to enjoy Christmas celebrations with our family! Wendy’s Kitchen will be closed through the end of the year and will re-open for business for the New Year on January 5, 2015. We are excited to roll out a few new ideas including A New Year, A New MenYOU that will include us continuing to prepare our current menu as well as offering an option each day of a healthier, more “resolution-friendly” meal. We will release more details in the coming week but we are excited to begin this menu expansion!
We can’t thank each of you enough for supporting us this last year. We are so excited to see what 2015 will bring!

Christmas Eve Pick-Ups

We will be open from 10-12 today for Christmas pick-ups! We have a few extra entrees and sides available if anyone needs last minute options! We have a couple Poppyseed Chicken as well as Cranberry Chicken and Rice entrees. We also have a few Traditional Green Bean Casseroles, Sweet Potato Casseroles, and Baked Mac & Cheese.

Menu for Christmas week:

Monday: Chicken Spaghetti, Caesar Salad, and Yeast Rolls

Tuesday: Chicken and Dressing, Green Beans with Bacon and Brown Sugar, and Yeast rolls (or choose an entree below)

This week will be quite different than usual. Though we have the above specials, we will also have the following entrees available to be made into meals these days:
Cranberry Chicken and Rice
Chicken and Wild Rice Casserole
Poppyseed Chicken and Rice

If you have a Christmas order, please place it ASAP! We will make extra entrees and sides but not desserts. We will be open our normal hours Mon and Tues and will be open for pickups only Wednesday, Dec 24 from 10-12. We will be closed the rest of the week and reopen Monday, Dec 29.

Daily Special Menu for December 15 – December 19

We will have Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad and Soup this week! Don’t forget, we are taking Holiday orders now for Christmas Eve/Christmas meals. Orders are due by this Thursday, December 18!

Monday: Pulled Pork and/or Pulled Chicken Tacos (includes choice of flour or corn tortillas, choice of shredded cabbage or shredded lettuce, and cheese), tortilla chips, and homemade salsa
Soup of the Day: White Cheddar Chicken Tortilla

Tuesday: Poppyseed Chicken and Rice, Green Beans, and Yeast Rolls

Wednesday: Classic Baked Spaghetti, Side Salad, and Ciabatta Or Garlic Bread

Thursday: Cajun Chicken Pasta, Caesar Salad, and Garlic Toast

Friday: Smothered Camp Steaks (seasoned hamburger steaks with potatoes, carrots, celery, onions, and bell pepper), Green Beans, and Yeast Rolls

Banana Pudding and Buffalo Chicken and Roasted Potato Casserole

Taking orders now for banana pudding for tomorrow! We can make it in quart size (4-8oz servings) or in a large pan – feeds 15+! We will also have our Buffalo Chicken and Roasted Potato Casserole available. We soak potatoes in a buffalo sauce then roast them before topping them with slow-simmered buffalo chicken and top the entire thing like a loaded baked potato with cheese, chives, and real bacon! It’s wonderful with ranch or bleu cheese drizzled on top!
Please place banana pudding orders by 9 am. I will make a few extra quarts as well 🙂
