Our menu for this week is below but I wanted to let everyone know I see a few exciting changes on the horizon for Wendy’s Kitchen!
We’ve been expanding our business in a few ways lately, especially in the catering field and I think it’s time to start making a few changes with the change of season!
First, this will be the last week we offer daily hot soups. We have really enjoyed having a soup of the day and will definitely plan to do this again next fall. It’s a little sad for me to see soups go so I do plan to incorporate some of our favorites into the menu from time to time. Also, we can always make soups by special request!
Another change I see on the horizon is discontinuing the daily special hot lunch. Lunch was never a part of my original plan but I decided to give it a try since our space had a nice dining room. In analyzing the business, we see that serving the hot lunch greatly affects our productivity in regards to our nightly dinners, the main part of our business! We sell out most nights and I’m hoping if we have more time to focus on preparing our take out, family size dinners we can greatly increase our production. I plan to continue to offer salads and chicken salad sandwiches at lunch and may even increase the variety of cold items we offer so please stay tuned….this is a work in progress. I realize that we must be constantly evolving to stay current and change is hard for me so we will have to see how this goes…
In the near future we will be adding self-serve coolers to our store. I think this will be a great way to visualize what items we have available rather than having to read off a list. I think this will be especially nice with desserts, salads, sides, soups, etc. so stay tuned for more information on this exciting development!
Finally, with Spring Break upon us and Summer right around the corner, we hope you will keep Wendy’s Kitchen in mind for feeding your family! If you are traveling and staying in accommodations with a kitchen, our meals make great alternatives to eating out while out of town! Monday: Grilled Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, Glazed Carrots or Green Peas, and Yeast Rolls
Soup of the Day: Italian-Style Hamburger Soup
Tuesday: Poppyseed Chicken with Rice, Green Beans, and Yeast Rolls
Healthy Option: Grilled Chicken Breasts, Wild Rice Pilaf, & Roasted Vegetables**
Soup of the Day: Broccoli Cheddar Soup
Wednesday: Cheese Manicotti with Meat Sauce, Side Salad, and Ciabatta Bread
Soup of the Day: Minestrone Soup
Thursday: White Chicken Enchiladas, Spanish Rice, and Homemade Salsa
Soup of the Day: White Cheddar Chicken Tortilla Soup
Friday: Swedish Meatballs over Egg Noodles, Green Beans, and Yeast Rolls
We will have Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad and our new Sweet Buffalo Chicken Salad (available at lunch on croissants or to-go by the pound for $8.50/lb) all week. Soups available hot at lunch or to-go for $9.50/qt

Our meals come in regular size (feeds 4-6, $35) and small size (feeds 2-3, $23). We offer local/military discounts ($5 off regular meal, $3 off small meal) so call us for more info! We offer delivery ($5 delivery fee) to the Destin, Miramar and SRB areas. Please call or email us for exact delivery areas and availability.
